Social Cooperative “Sunny Hill”

The Sunny Hill Foundation was created as part of the project “From self-realization to social participation through the support of Pomeranian centres of non-governmental organizations” run by the Regional Center for Information and Support of NGOs from Gdańsk supported by the Center of Non-Governmental Organizations from Kartuzy. People co-creating and acting on the behalf of the Sunny Hill Foundation have many years of experience in the preparation, coordination and implementation of educational, therapeutic and cultural projects repeatedly co-financed by the City of Gdańsk, Pomeranian Voivodeship Government, Ministry of National Education and the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. Members of the Foundation also operate in the structures of the Gdańsk Archipelago of Culture and, as the Theater “Outside of Art”, they carry out educational and cultural projects for children and youth
in the fields of theatre, music and various art forms.

The foundation realizes min. the following goals:

-supporting comprehensive and sustainable development: social and cultural
and economic,
-comprehensive assistance in the development of disabled people through education, rehabilitation, integration.
-supporting the development of culture and education in the countryside,
-integration of rural residents, preventing helplessness and social exclusion,
-supporting democracy and building a civil society in the local environment
-supporting ecological programs, nature and landscape protection as well as development of alternative energy sources
-dissemination among the local community, especially among children
and youth good patterns of education, education, science and sport
-promotion of the Pomeranian Region and Poland in Europe and in the world.
