Operating on the open market, DUO publishing is a developing social enterprise standing firm against shaming and helping to reduce stereotypes in society and support the development of peer councelling, modern rehabilitation and inclusion.
NGO DUO Publishing was created as a joint undertaking, by the experts and peer councilors of the Estonian Psychosocial Rehablition Association (EPRA), in November of 2014.
Our overall goal is to create social values through educating and informing the public as related to mental health and its care, as well as supporting recoverers through advice, examples and practical applications via providing jobs. Our main values are a recovery oriented way of thinking and belief in the capacities of people with psychiatric conditions. To change perceptions and stances, we believe that people with special needs must certainly be included in the process.
