Jewelgirls

JewelGirls is a charity program of art therapy for children and youth from at-risk groups and victims of violence – in orphanages, crisis centers, “small moms” centres, etc.

In regular classes, the participants of the program create jewelry and souvenirs, but also learn how to protect themselves from violence and exploitation, change their social status, earn money legally and improve their living conditions.

Ornaments and souvenirs created by the participants are realized for donations. 50% of the money earned for each piece of jewelry is spent on the needs of the author of this decoration. Everyone decides how to spend the money, gaining skills in budget planning and financial literacy. 50% of the funds go to provide other necessary assistance to participants and the organizational costs of the program (procurement of materials, conduct classes).
