IDĖJOS MIESTUI – IDEAS FOR CITIES (IM) is an innovative think tank focusing on transformative experiences of urban spaces. IM acts as a collaborative platform that connects professional community of architects, service designers, marketing specialists, IT developers, academic community and social activists.
The interdisiciplinary IM team uses innovative methods to generate ideas, turn them into quick prototypes and test them by using service design, design thinking and other methods. New ideas are implemented through public buzz and creation of social content which gathers targeted audience. IM is not tied to any particular form of solutions and uses urban interventions, soft architectural solutions, community events, workshops or creative sessions among many other types of solutions.
The founder of IM is an architect, urbanist, researcher and lecturer – dr. Inga Urbonaitė. Members of IM have been working on various projects related to place making, livability, sustainability, re-coding public spaces, implementation of temporal functions and etc.
