Social enterprise CupCup has created deposit-based system for cups of hot and cold drinks in order to provide an alternative to regular disposable cups. They service festivals, events, coffee shops. A customer pays 1 EUR deposit with his drink and after the return of the cup, he or she is getting back the deposit.
In 2019 CupCup has been able to save nearly 100.000 disposable cups during summer festivals only.
